Recensì

An AI assistant for small Italian restaurants. It reads reviews from Google, TripAdvisor and TheFork, drafts replies in three tones and flags the reviews that put the rating at risk.

The Recensì web app. The interface is in Italian, for Italian restaurants. Screens inside the app use a demo restaurant.
The problem

Reviews pile up, and the bad ones hurt.

Small restaurants run on tiny teams. Reviews arrive on several platforms, replies come late or come out defensive, and nobody has time to spot the few reviews that can really damage the rating.

What I built

Read, decide, reply.

The Recensì dashboard for a demo restaurant, with reputation score and three actions

What to do today

The dashboard opens with a reputation score, sentiment and star distribution, and the three things to act on now, in plain words.

The Recensì review inbox, sorted by priority

One inbox

Reviews from every platform land in one inbox, sorted by priority and tagged with sentiment, urgency and topics.

Recensì Reply Studio with three tones and a private recovery message

Reply Studio

Pick a tone for the public reply, then publish it to Google or copy it. For risky reviews, the Star Saver adds a private recovery message and an internal action for the team.

Key decisions

Four decisions behind the product.

  • Start from pasted text. You can begin with a few reviews copied by hand, without connecting any account.
  • Never promise a refund in public. The Star Saver keeps the public reply short and moves the conversation to a private message.
  • Only what matters on Monday. Each week, three things to act on: what customers love and what isn't working.
  • Honest pricing. A free plan for one venue and up to 20 reviews a month; €29 a month for unlimited reviews, the Star Saver and the weekly report, with a 14-day free trial.
What I learned

Pick the user who struggles most.

I picked small venues because, with tiny teams, they struggle most to keep up with everything, reviews included. I haven't tested it with a restaurant owner yet: that is the next step to see whether the idea holds.

What's next

One restaurant, one month.

Put Recensì in the hands of a restaurant owner and see whether they keep using the replies it writes.
